תוס' ד"ה שאם

For if he want to cut, he cuts - שאם בא לחתוך חותך

One may cut one ספר from another if it is not for division.

תוס' ד"ה בגויל

By גויל six טפחים; how much by קלף, etc. - בגויל ששה טפחים בקלף בכמה

Summary:
גויל is unprocessed hide. We write on the outside. קלף and דוכסוסטוס are respectively the outer and inner halves of the גויל. We write on the (in)sides which face each other. תפילין are written on קלף (including our קלפים) but not on דוכסוסטוס.

תוס' ד"ה דילמא

Perhaps it was תורה צוה, etc. - דילמא תורה צוה

Summary:
The פסוק of תורה צוה is considered תורה based on the גמרא that the תורה which a father should teach his son is תורה צוה וגו'.

So that the ס"ת should not go in and out when it is a tight fit - שלא יהא ספר תורה יוצא ונכנס כשהוא דחוק

Summary:
It is permitted to enter (even) the קה"ק to do repair work and (even) to prevent the תורה from becoming moldy.
